Who you are dealing with

Furhaps is operated by IMS House Grzegorz Zięba, Podleszany 452, 39-300 Mielec, Poland, a sole trader registered in Poland's Central Register and Information on Economic Activity (CEIDG). NIP 8171927156. REGON 180321820. We refer to ourselves as "we" or "Furhaps".

Who you buy from

Your keepsake is sold by Paddle as merchant of record and authorised reseller. Which Paddle company is the seller depends on where you buy from:

Your purchase contract — payment, tax, invoicing, refunds and chargebacks — is with the applicable Paddle company under Paddle's Buyer Terms. Your separate agreement with IMS House Grzegorz Zięba (these terms) covers making and providing the keepsake, your permission to use it, and our use of the material you submit. Neither agreement removes your statutory rights against the party responsible for the relevant obligation.

Accepting these terms

By using furhaps.com or ordering a keepsake, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the service. When you order, the price and any applicable taxes are shown before you pay, you can check and correct what you entered before you commit, and we send you a confirmation email.

What you are buying

A personalised illustrated digital story about your dog, made from the details and photographs you give us. It is a digital product: there is nothing physical, and nothing is posted to you. You receive an email with a private link to your story, which you read in your web browser and can save and print. To use it you need a current web browser and access to the email address you ordered with. We intend to keep the link available. If we ever have to withdraw it, we will email you beforehand, with time to save a copy. This is a one-off purchase, not a subscription.

We deliver by email within 48 hours of the moment Paddle records your payment as captured. Those 48 hours run from the payment, not from your questionnaire: the time you take to answer is part of them, and if we are still missing what we need to finish, we will email you to ask rather than wait silently. The deadline is not extended by a late questionnaire; we deliver as soon as we have your answers, and your rights if we deliver late are on our Refunds page.

Every keepsake is made automatically from your photos and answers, with AI-assisted illustration and writing. We will always answer honestly if you ask how it is made.

The material you give us

Any rights you already hold in the photographs and words you submit remain yours. You allow us, and service providers acting on our behalf, to store, copy and adapt that material only as needed to make, deliver and support your keepsake.

Upload only material that you are entitled to use for this purpose, including any necessary permission from the photographer and from the people shown. For an identifiable child, obtain any necessary permission from the person legally entitled to give it. Please leave out or crop out people who do not need to appear, and share our Privacy Notice with anyone whose personal information you submit.

Unless you separately and explicitly opt in, neither we nor AI providers acting on our behalf use your submitted photographs or words to train AI models, and we do not use your keepsake in our marketing. You will never be asked to agree to either by accepting these terms.

What you may do with your keepsake

You have permission to keep, print and share your keepsake for personal and family use, for as long as you like. This is not a promise of exclusive copyright in every element. You may not resell it, redistribute it commercially, or present it as your own work for sale.

What we own

We keep our rights in Furhaps itself — the site, the software, the templates, the name, the branding and our protected original content. Nothing here transfers those rights to you, and nothing here takes away rights you already held in what you uploaded.

Using the service properly

You must not: use Furhaps unlawfully; submit fraudulent orders or spam; upload material that infringes anyone's intellectual property; or interfere with the service's security, including malware, probing, scraping or attempting to access other people's orders.

Availability

We do our best to keep Furhaps working, but we cannot guarantee it will be uninterrupted or error-free. It is a small operation and things occasionally break.

Suspension and termination

We may suspend or end your access if you materially breach these terms, if payment fails or is reversed, if there is a security or fraud risk, or in the case of repeated or serious policy violations. Any action will be proportionate to the reason for it. Where practical, we will explain the issue and give you a reasonable opportunity to put it right; we may act immediately where necessary to address a serious security, fraud or unlawful-use risk. Suspension does not remove your statutory remedies or, by itself, revoke personal-use permission for a keepsake that remains paid for. A good-faith complaint, a lawful withdrawal or a legitimate chargeback is never treated as a policy violation.

Liability

Nothing here limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited — including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or under your mandatory consumer rights. Our liability to consumers is determined by applicable law and is not capped at the price of the order.

Law

Your agreement with Furhaps is governed by Polish law. This does not change the law governing your separate purchase contract with Paddle. If you are a consumer, you retain the mandatory protections that applicable law gives you, including protections of the country where you live, and you may bring proceedings there where permitted by applicable law.

Changes

We may update these terms. The version in force for your order is the one published when you ordered.
